Services and Activities

Our Coffee Room is open to everyone in the community,
Monday 11 - 4 and Tuesday to Friday 10 to 4.30.
Come in for a cuppa and a snack at very reasonable prices.

We offer the following clubs:

Good Neighbour Club
(Tuesday 10.30 - 3)
For elderly people who can make their own way here for a varied programme of activities. Includes morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.

Monthly Bus Outings
(Wednesday 11 - 4)
For elderly people who enjoy a drive in the country, companionship and lunch out.

Stitching Group
(Wednesday 1.30 - 3.30)
Needlework of all sorts, a social group.

Thursday Club
(Thursday 11.30 - 2.30)
For frail elderly people. Includes lunch and a variety of activities. Transport is provided.

Friday Art/Craft Group
(Friday 10.30 - 12.30)
For older people keen to learn new skills or rekindle an interest in art work.

Saturday Break
(Saturday 10 - 3)
Offers respite for carers and a safe, stimulating, friendly environment for those with memory loss.

In addition our premises are used by many local organisations for both regular and occasional meetings. These include:

South Edinburgh Quaker meeting Sunday 10.15am
Morningside Justice and Peace Group Wednesday 10 - 11.30am
Advice from Nigel Griffiths MP 3rd Saturday of the month, 12 noon
Morningside Community Council 3rd Wednesday, of every month (except July), 7.30
