See you all again next Christmas. A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR TO ALL MORNINGSIDE RESIDENTS |
On this website you will find information about Morningside Community Council, who we are, where we are, what we do and how you can have a say in local affairs. We also include many links to the websites of other organisations which we hope will be useful, relevant and interesting to the residents of Morningside.
Have your say
The Community Council represents the residents and traders of Morningside. We try to take the majority view about local issues, so help us get it right by telling us what you think.
We can only deal with what we know about. If you have concerns about any local issue, from uneven pavements to graffiti to Edinburgh's policies on Transport, Planning, Environment or any other matter, Contact us or, better still, come to a meeting and tell us about it.
Information about local events, meetings and happenings are on our Events page.
Residents in the area will be interested to know what it happening about the development of the buildings, formerly Napier University, at Craighouse.
A group of residents calling themselves Friends of Craighouse has been set up, details HERE.
Graham Cameron from Friends of Craighouse presented a paper to the Community Council at our meeting on 21 September. The discussion which followed is reported in our September minutes.
There is also a Facebook campaign HERE
Members of Morningside CC met with representatives of the Craighouse Partnership on 24 November. A note of the meeting can be read HERE.
